Dream Inn Santa Cruz in partnership with K&D Landscaping will host a Botanical Lunch and Stroll, an immersive afternoon focused on sustainability, climate-appropriate plantings, and inspired outdoor design.

Designed to foster meaningful dialogue and knowledge-sharing, the event will feature a thoughtfully curated experience set against the backdrop of Dream Inn’s oceanfront property. The event includes a guided garden tour of Dream Inn’s drought-resistant native landscaping, expert-led discussions, and an organic, plant-based lunch designed to inspire conversation around environmentally responsible landscaping practices.

This exclusive gathering highlights sustainable landscaping practices tailored to the California coast, fostering dialogue among industry leaders while reinforcing Dream Inn’s commitment to environmental stewardship, community engagement, and experiential hospitality.  Attendees will receive a starter plant kit from Mariquita Farm. A raffle benefiting Jacob’s Heart Children’s Cancer Support Services will take place featuring Dream Inn overnight stay + a garden package from K & D Landscaping.
